Shahi Paneer

Ingredients

  • 200 grams paneer, kaate hue tukde (cottage cheese, cut into pieces)
  • 1 bada pyaaz (large onion), kata hua
  • 2 tamatar (tomatoes), kata hua
  • 1/4 cup dahi (yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup malai (fresh cream)
  • 1/4 cup kaju (cashews)
  • 1/4 cup kishmish (raisins)
  • 1 inch adrak (ginger), kata hua aur pees kiya hua
  • 4-5 lehsun ki kaliya (garlic cloves), kata hua aur pees kiya hua
  • 2-3 hari mirch (green chilies), kata hua (for spiciness, optional)
  • 1 chammach lal mirch powder (red chili powder)
  • 1/2 chammach haldi powder (turmeric powder)
  • 1 chammach dhaniya powder (coriander powder)
  • 1/2 chammach garam masala
  • 1/2 chammach zeera (cumin seeds)
  • 2-3 chammach tel (oil)
  • Namak (salt) to taste
  • Kothmir (coriander leaves) for garnish

Method

  1. Ek kadhai mein tel garam karein aur usme zeera daalein. Zeera ko brown hone tak pakayein.

  2. Pyaaz, lehsun, aur adrak daalein aur halka sa brown hone tak pakayein.

  3. Tamatar daalein aur sabziyan mix karein. Haldi powder, lal mirch powder, dhaniya powder, aur namak daalkar acche se mix karein.

  4. Kaju aur kishmish daalein aur thodi der ke liye pakayein.

  5. Gas band kar dein aur mixture ko thanda hone ke liye rakhein.

  6. Thanda hua mixture ko blender mein daalein aur smooth paste bana lein.

  7. Wapis kadhai mein mixture daalein aur usme dahi aur malai milayein. Acche se mix karein.

  8. Paneer tukde daalein aur dhimi aanch par 5-7 minutes tak pakayein.

  9. Garam masala aur hari mirch daalein, aur acche se mix karein.

  10. Kothmir se sajayein aur Shahi Paneer garama garam serve karein.

Mazeedar Shahi Paneer taiyar hai! Ise naan, roti, ya chawal ke saath serve karein aur mazze se khayein!
