  • 1 cup dhuli Moong Dal (split yellow lentils), raat bhar ya 3-4 ghante paani mein bhigoyein
  • 1 chhota pyaaz (onion), baareek kata hua
  • 1 chhota tamatar (tomato), baareek kata hua
  • 1/4 cup Shimla Mirch (capsicum), baareek kati hui
  • 1-2 hari mirch (green chillies), baareek kati hui (apne swaad ke anusaar)
  • 1 inch adrak (ginger), ghisa hua
  • 2 bade chammach hara dhaniya (coriander leaves), baareek kata hua
  • 1/2 chammach haldi powder (turmeric powder)
  • 1/2 chammach lal mirch powder (red chilli powder)
  • Namak (salt) swaad anusaar
  • Tel (oil) cheela banane ke liye

Method / Preparation

Follow step-by-step instructions
  1. Bhigoyi hui Moong Dal ko paani se nikaal kar mixer mein thode paani ke saath pees lein, ek smooth paste bana lein. Batter zyada patla na ho.
  2. Ek bade bartan mein, peese hue dal ke batter ko nikaal lein. Ismein baareek kata pyaaz, tamatar, Shimla Mirch, hari mirch, ghisa adrak aur hara dhaniya daal dein.
  3. Ab ismein haldi powder, lal mirch powder aur namak daal kar sabhi cheezon ko acche se mix karein. Batter ko 5-7 minute ke liye set hone dein.
  4. Ek non-stick tawa ya kadhai ko madhyam aanch par garam karein. Thoda tel lagakar tawa ko grease karein.
  5. Ek chamcha batter lein aur garam tawa par phaila kar gol pudla bana lein. Zyada mota na banayein.
  6. Pudle ke kinaron par thoda tel daalein. Jab ek taraf se sunehra brown ho jaye, toh palat kar doosri taraf se bhi achhe se paka lein.
  7. Jab dono taraf se pudla acche se pak jaye aur crispy ho jaye, toh ise tawa se utaar lein.
  8. Garam-garam Moong Dal aur Sabzi Pudla ko hari chutney, dahi ya apni pasand ki kisi bhi chatni ke saath serve karein.
